Public, private, or hybrid cloud?
Public cloud runs on shared provider infrastructure like AWS or Azure. Private cloud is dedicated to one organization. Hybrid blends both, keeping sensitive workloads private while using public cloud for scale. Most organizations don't pick one model for everything. The better approach is to decide workload by workload, weighing compliance, performance, cost, and how much control your team needs, and that is where a readiness assessment starts.
How do you control cloud costs?
Through ongoing cloud cost optimization. That means right-sizing resources, removing idle capacity, matching workloads to the most economical platform, and monitoring spend continuously.
